As Jake suggested, I perused one of the suggested sites (quickly) and saw some good videos. One that I thought could be used sometime in service is "Letter from God" at Worshiphousemedia.com (did I get that right?).
So, this is just a run-through for the process!

The NewSongs Blog is a place for YOU to provide input for music on Sundays. Listen to the iMeem playlist that's embedded - a collection of songs being considered. Anyone is free to comment on NewSong ideas that have been posted. When enough positive comments have been made on a particular song it will be added to the iMeem playlist. Additional song suggestions must be posted as a Blog Entry by a NewSongs team member OR through Nancy Jones (gorillajones@comcast.net), team leader.
Criteria for NewSongs
1. POTENCY of the lyric - how true, relevant, and poignant is the text of the song?
2. POWER of the music - how gripping is the recording, the instrumentation ... is it something we want to mimic?
3. PARTICIPATION for the congregation singing - Is the song catchy, hummable, and in a vocal range that works for the average person? (If not the song can still be suggested, but marked as a "special music" potential).
4. PUBLICALLY-KNOWN - is the song recognized by folks that listen to local christian radio, to online streaming (like pandora), or that buy CD's ...?
